Do Your Hormones Even Matter

When you say “I think I have a hormonal imbalance,” you probably mean that you get scary-moody one week of every month.

Or it might be a subtle way of saying “my jeans are getting tight, and I blame stress.”

But the reality is that almost every task and to-do list in your body is managed by hormones, and an imbalance in any of them could leave you feeling off kilter.

What leads to hormonal imbalance?

Hormonal imbalance can result from any (or more likely a combination of) the following:

– a diet high in processed foods
– eating often (commonly known as grazing)
– inconsistent exercise
– lack of sleep
– exposure to chemicals in food, air, water, clothes, cleaners, etc.
– your genes
– and more.

While a few of these things aren’t in your control, most of them are, which is great news if you want to look and feel your best, no matter your age.
